CHILDREN'S DAY
Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November in all India
as a tribute to India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal
Nehru. It's like a festival for all children. Children’s
day is also known as “Bal Diwas”. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born
on 14 November 1889. We commemorate Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary
as children’s day in India. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru loves all children’s and
children’s also loved Jawaharlal Nehru and called him with the lovely way “Chacha
Nehru”.
On this
day, chocolate and gifts are often distributed among children and all schools
organize events, dance and motivational and awareness program, also distribute
gifts to all children.
Chacha
Nehru's famous quote is “The children of today will make the
India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the
Country”.
