Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November in all India as a tribute to India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It's like a festival for all children. Children’s day is also known as “Bal Diwas”. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14 November 1889. We commemorate Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary as children’s day in India. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru loves all children’s and children’s also loved Jawaharlal Nehru and called him with the lovely way “Chacha Nehru”.
On this day, chocolate and gifts are often distributed among children and all schools organize events, dance and motivational and awareness program, also distribute gifts to all children.

Chacha Nehru's famous quote is “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the Country”.
